What image format can I use?
Format of these images can be JPEG, TIFF or PNG. Most images are taken/provided as JPEG or PNG.
What resolution does my image need to be? Does it have to be a professional image?
It’s always best to use high resolution images (300dpi) if you want your picture to be crystal-clear.
What if my image isn’t good quality?
One of our team will contact you if we believe your image will not reproduce with a good print quality - however, we will send a proof to you, and leave the decision with you as to whether you’d like to go ahead.
From our years of experience working face to face with customers, we are aware that sometimes you might want a canvas that is of sentimental value, regardless of quality. We are happy to print your canvas even if it is imperfect, as we understand it will still be a beloved image for you to treasure forever.

Production
What canvas material do you use?
We print all canvases on the highest quality 270gsm polyester canvas. We have tested multiple different canvas materials to ensure our products are of the best quality. We love the smooth finish of the canvas we use.
What do you mean by ‘hand-crafted’?
All our canvases are made and hand finished by our framers. The canvases are hand-stretched around kiln dried wooden frames and include wedges, ensuring they do not sag.
We’re a small family-run business, and we take a lot of pride in what we do! Each canvas is made as if it were for ourselves.

All images need to be provided in JPEG//PNG file types. Most phones/cameras use this file type for images, so yours is probably suitable! If you have any questions about this, contact us at hello@canvasland.co.uk
Can I send you a physical photograph?
We can accept photographs via post to be used on canvas prints, however this must be the original copy to ensure optimal printing. Your original copy will be sent back to you safely with your canvas print. Please contact us for postage address if this is the case.
Can I use a photograph from my phone?
Absolutely - you can email the image over to us directly from your phone by clicking here.
Cleaning/Maintaining Canvases

Keep out of sunlight, use dry cloth to dust.
